Todd Gates
Todd has over 20 years of advisory and M&A experience most recently as the Director of M&A for a large industry consolidator of HVAC, plumbing and home services company. Previously he was a founding partner of Spectra Advisors, an industry leading M&A advisory firm focused on the for-profit proprietary school industry where he closed over 40 transactions. Todd was also the CEO of the Investment Banking Institute, the world’s largest financial modeling and valuation training program with 10 domestic and 12 international training sites offering an accelerated career path for students and professionals seeking to enter the finance industry. He has a BA from Emory University and a MBA from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.

Megan Bedford
Megan is a 20 year marketing specialist singularly focused on the trades. She began her career with Hibu, a Yellow Page company, and later formed her own digital agency in 2010 providing marketing services to dozens of Nexstar affiliated home service companies and franchise businesses. She sold her business in 2017 to a national agency and assumed a VP role for several years overseeing their entire Home Services division before launching a consultancy company for plumbing, HVAC and electrical contractors. Her entrepreneurial background and vast agency experience enables her to provide a unique perspective to business owners as they seek to improve their SEO, increase social media generated leads and effectively manage their marketing budget. Meg has her BA from the University of Vermont.
Huzaifa Hussain
Huzaifa has spent his career advising corporate and private equity clients across a diversity of industries at various stages along the M&A lifecycle. His experience includes helping financial and strategic buyers evaluate the financial health of acquisition targets, representing sellers during their divestiture readiness & execution, and advising on operational carve-out separations & integrations. Previously, Huzaifa was a Senior Manager in the M&A practice at Connor Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York. His corporate M&A experience includes doing HVAC and Plumbing transactions at HomeServe in Norwalk, CT. He began his career as part of Deloitte’s audit practice focused on consumer products and REIT clients. Huzaifa is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina.
